Please include your device model and iOS or Android version so we can reproduce the problem faster.
Open the app, go to Profile → Delete account, and confirm. Your account, goal settings and every meal entry are removed from our database immediately and permanently. This cannot be undone. If you cannot open the app, email us from the address you signed up with and we will delete the account on our side.
Codes usually arrive within a few seconds. If nothing shows up: check the spam or promotions folder, confirm you typed the address correctly, then wait a minute and request a new code. Codes expire after one hour and can only be used once. Some corporate mail servers block automated messages — try a personal address if that applies to you.
The estimate comes from a vision model reading a single photo. It cannot see oil, sugar, sauces, fillings or the true thickness of a portion, and those are exactly what move a dish from 400 to 900 kcal. Use the range rather than the single number, and edit the entry after you eat if you know better. Accuracy improves noticeably when the whole plate is in frame and lit from above.
Yes. Tap Skip on the sign-in screen and everything stays on your device. The trade-off is that nothing syncs: reinstalling the app or switching phones loses your history. Without an account you also get a smaller number of photo analyses per day.
Signed-in accounts get a daily allowance that covers normal use several times over. Without an account the allowance is smaller, counted per network. The limit resets at midnight UTC. If you hit it, the app tells you when to try again.
No. A photo is compressed on your device, sent to our server, forwarded once to the vision model, and discarded. We keep no copy on our side. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.
Sign in on the new device with the same email address. Your entries are pulled from your account automatically. If you were using the app without an account, the history exists only on the old device and cannot be transferred.
No. Simmerlo is a tracking tool. Estimates are approximations and the daily target is a general guideline, not a prescription. If you are managing a medical condition, an allergy or an eating disorder, work with a qualified professional rather than this app.
If the app crashes, a photo fails to analyze repeatedly, or you spot something that looks like a privacy issue, email [email protected] with a description of what you did immediately before it happened. Privacy issues are treated as urgent.
